The New Zealand lightsaber team at Sulphur City Sabers are a friendly bunch. We have a strong focus on helping New Zealand lightsaber fans connect with the right type of saber for their needs, be it dueling, choreography, display or cosplay.
The Sulphur City Sabers website focuses on expertly curating a range of entry and mid level, pre-installed sabers. We want to encourage more people into the NZ saber community and we can do this by making participation as affordable as possible. It’s an awesome community with regular saber meets across the country, national tournaments, photo shoots, fan-film projects and much more!
You’ll find a wide range of sabers in the collection: comfortable & nimble dueling models, pixel-blade options for performance & cosplay and a range of screen inspired models which are great for display & collecting.

We’ve been doing this over at Sulphur City Foundry since 2017 with our premium offering of locally installed & supported custom sabers and this year, after many requests from the NZ saber community, we’re expanding our range of options!
2022 sees the addition of our Sulphur City Sabers website which will focus on expertly curating a range of entry and mid level, pre-installed sabers to compliment our custom work.
