The Apprentice V2 is an incredibly well designed hilt, balancing form and functionality. Despite the name, there's nothing 'apprentice' about it. A well designed grip and a popular angled emitter with perfectly placed shine-throughs. It's a substantial feeling, well balanced hilt. This is a great hilt. -
Available in either 37" or 32" length, this is a 1" diameter (hollow) blade for an RGB Baselit installed saber. It has a parabolic tip secured into the blade by two plastic lugs. NOTE, these are thinner walled, lighter (hence a little faster to wield) blades. Being thinner, they are NOT warrantied for dueling ... but experienced duelers do use them for such, for the faster handling. Duelers simply accept the fact that they are not as durable and may require replacement more often. EXPECTATIONS: the fastest I've seen one fail is 3 sessions, against a heavy hitting dueler using a heavy grade blade. The longest I've seen one last is 18 months of weekly use. When they fail, it's usually a crack in the end 4-6" or so. The blade can then be cut back, the tip glued in and the blade re-used as a shorted shoto blade. -

Please note. These are a little bit special. They are heavily discounted as we're winding down our custom shelf stock. These are hand installed, custom sabers made with absolutely top knotch components from our sister custom SaberSmith company over at Sulphur City Foundry. It is a grade B hilt which means it has small cosmetic flaws. On this hilt, flaws include minor dings on the back edge of the emitter. There may be other smaller cosmetic flaws. This is sold (kinda) un-rectified, but could be touched up with nail polish or paint / pen. I've demonstrated my favourite technique for dealing with powder coat dings, which is simply using a permanent marker dabbed into the chip to simulate carbon scoring. You get that mix of bare metal, black + the original finish. These small cosmetic niggles saves you some serious $$$. The red is difficult to capture, but it's a slightly deeper red than the images portray and is semi-translucent (see through). The images with the white background are more representative than the main image. Should note, that we consider powder coated hilts like this as 'show ponies', unless you're happy to live with the dings just to have a unique saber. Powder coat can chip under impact. It is lovingly installed in-house with factory components. Rather than having to wait the install queue, Ready to Ship sabers are all prepped and ready to go! This is an RGB Baselit Install. These are Xeno3 cores for the S-Series sabers. They are USB-C recharge port models (we can also source models with a 2.1mm recharge port. Just enquire as to availability). This purchase is for an electronics core + recharge cable only. This item does NOT include a blade. If you are migrating your saber from a baselit RGB model to a pixel model, you will need to purchase a pixel blade. If you are migrating your saber from one pixel core to another (Xeno3 to Proffie V2.2 for example) you can use the same pixel blade. Quite a cool little gizmo that converts your pixel saber into a baselit. This means that you can fit a conventional hollow blade for the purposes of dueling. You'll note that we don't warranty Pixel sabers for dueling because it's the blades that will prematurely fail. This handy drop in module is a little game changer!! If you're a regular dueller, we'd always recommend going with a dedicated RGB Baselit model, but this will let you 'dabble' with dueling. The lesser current draw will also mean that your saber will run a lot longer. -
